Direct Microscopic Exam (DME)

Identification to the closest genus or group of all fungi present, quantification of the relative amounts of spores, and a general assessment of the background debris of swab, bulk, or tape-lift samples. Samples are stained with Lactophenol Cotton Blue and analyzed at 600X on aligned and calibrated microscopes. Complete and proofread final reports are provided based on selected turn-around time.
